Specifically:
Since the 1st Golden Power of Veto season, he was already the only person to make the final 4 without ever being nominated.

5 people have made the final 3 without being a final nominee (i.e. after the veto was used): S4 Ali, S5 Drew, S7 Janelle, S11 Kevin, S14 Dan. It would be interesting if the 3rd winner to do this was also a D-named guy.
