I'm sure that if Amiibo do well, they'll do like three packs of DLC-characters because they will want to move Amiibo units. 1 character for $7.99 is not about to happen. We'll probably get 3-5 characters, a stage for each character and an item to correspond with each character in each DLC pack. That way, they'll get $11.99 (I expect the same bundle as MK8 for a DLC two-pack) and be able to sell 6-10 new Amiibos (which could be $77.94-$129.90 for each person that buys all of the Amiibo sets). I highly doubt they'll skimp on characters when they can make so much more money by adding more characters and I believe their current financial reportings back up my statements.
The biggest qualms seem to be Dr. Mario and Dark Pit. People are so and so on Lucina mostly. Since she is a clone, but she's also a fan favorite among Fire Emblem fans. Unlike Dr. Mario who is just another Mario and Dark Pit who is just the color swap from Brawl.
I mean I know clones are "roster" fillers, but they could have given us way more interesting clones.
Dark Pit could've been so much better if he was a unique character. Kid Icarus: Uprising had so many play styles, options and weapons. Pit using Palutena's bow, Palutena using her staff and Dark Pit who should've been named Pitoo with a club.
But since they didn't do that he literally is just a Pit reskin with Zelda/Marth's final smash.
And in the midst of them making all of the Koopalings, why didn't they make Daisy?

Daisy deserves a proper alt Like, I was expecting it. Not a doubt in my mind I just assumed they would give Daisy one
I just don't understand why Dark Pit is a clone. He is his own character in Kid Icarus: Uprising and the bitch uses different weapons compared to Pit. I just don't understand He should have been an alt just like Dr. Mario.
I'm liking the Villager the most out of everyone right now. I love K.O.ing people with the tree
