Well the same applies here. Apple has and will probably always sell more, but Samsung is still pulling strong numbers with their Note and S phones compared to the rest.

Wait.... No you didn't compare a multi billion dollar company with artist selling their product. Artist sell their products because if not they got absolutely no money when These companies are set for life when they have more than just samsung phones.

And then, years down the line, like now, people are starting to realise how far behind, less impressive, and how much you're being conned by the top brand. If you sell cheaper products, you make a bigger profit.

I think Apple's record-selling weekend might say otherwise.
Anyway, until another brand gives such a cohesive ecosystem, I'll stick with Apple. Nobody else even comes close yet.
If someone wants to decide which phone is best by a chart comparing features and nothing else, then have at it.

Kind of embarrassing for other companies to admit that other phones have been using it for longer because it's never really caught on.

That's good for Apple and shows how powerful they are, but how can YOU, a consumer, be proud of them serving you technologies years after the competition ?
The self shade.

And yet iPhone keeps breaking sales records, Galaxy will always stay behind. It's like the whole purpose of its creation was trying to beat the iPhone

You can all you want but an OS is subjective, some might prefer Apple's simplicity while others prefer android's features.
Hardware on the other hand is not debatable.
Just look at how Apple made a huge deal back when they had the sharpest displays, which was 3 years ago...

That's good for Apple and their leaders getting their pockets filled, but how does their success affect you personally ?
People really do pay $800€ for a brand it seems.

Well I wouldn't be proud of an Android phone that had NFC and I couldn't really use it anywhere so I'm not sure that one stance is better than the other.
Also, some feature differences are irrelevant. The camera megapixel difference? Imperceptible to the human eye.
Difference in RAM? Ok nice, but what matters with RAM is how it's utilized by the system. Most people just see a higher number and know literally nothing about what RAM is.
It really just comes down to personal taste and what people want in a phone. What glaring, game-changing technology or feature has been used first in an Android phone?

I don't like big phones so I might just get the iPhone 6 if it feels good.
If not, I'll remain content with my iPhone5s.
I've never had an android, only blackberry//iPhone. Not sure if I would be willing to switch .

Well I have a wireless Sony NFC headphones, that's not even why I bought them but that function is there and definitely helped, so to me personally it is useful.
Regarding megapixels, the more doesn't always mean the better, but Samsung phones have been praised a lot for their very good cameras lately, the 8 megapixels difference between the iPhone and the Note might be visible after all, at least it term of overall quality of the photos and videos.
We'll have to wait for the first reviews.
Then the ram, IOS being "just" icons (which is part of its simplicity) doesn't require much ram, but the Note 4 has more ram because it also has more fonctions. Some of them are gimmicks that you'll never use, others, like all the multitasking and other multi windows are very useful.
I definitely feel like being the first OS with HD, Full HD, Quad HD and now even Bendable displays, are game changing technologies. The latter being the obvious next step in screen evolution.
Seems like Apple agree. The swore that 4 inch was the perfect size and are now releasing phablets with HD resolutions.
No one understood the Galaxy Note when it came out 4 years ago just like no one understands the Note Edge today.
But by 2020 I bet that everyone will have jumped on the bendable displays trend that Samsung started.

I'm an Apple iPhone user. I can see that a lot of phones running Android have better specs. But I stick with apple because the overall experience is better. They focus on how to improve their hardware and keep software updates comparable for generations ago.
My roommate just switched from Android after 4 years and he's happy. And I'm even happier because I won't have to fix his phone every two weeks

Time will tell if bendable displays are game changing
Also, at the average distance a person holds the phone away from their face, Quad HD and the like are imperceptible. If one holds a phone a few inches from his/her face, then maybe one might notice this feature.

Are we sure that this won't turn into a second "Stars nudes leak from the cloud" mess, this time with bank accounts and passwords ?
I'm fine using my bank card, but will definitely keep an eye on that feature.

True, but going bigger (and thus having to increase screen resolution, to HD/Full HD) is something started by Samsung. You'll see when you'll hold an iPhone 6 Plus, everything will just feel better on it compared to the tiny iphone 5S, all thanks to Samsung.
