If 1989 does gigantic numbers first week, then Taylor is truly a legend because I just don't see how such an uninspiring, unimaginative single like SIO would push such sales. That's one of the worst songs I've heard in the last five years.

critics shape the public perception. they decide what people should or shouldn't enjoy. . in the stan world, it is everything though in real life, it means nothing. if your fave is acclaimed=good quality. if your fave is panned=bad quality. that's pretty much how it goes .

Did you know Taylor Swift has TWO albums that are higher on Metacritic than Anal Del Gay's critically-acclaimed masterpiece UltraAverage?

While Anal Del Gay ****s 70 year olds in order to get "inspiration" for her next sepia-tone flop, Taylor is busy winning Grammys (some Anal will never have), outselling Ultraviolence in one week (twice! Only US sales!), and making friends with other people who are more successful than Anal (like Lorde!)

Now let's look at Katy!

PRISM has the same Metascore as Born To Die! Same as ARTPOP too!

You know what that means? That means that Prism is seen as being about as good as Born To Die. Rest assured that songs like International Smile and Dark Horse are seen on the same level as Video Games and Born To Die

On top of that, Katy is selling more, touring more, making more money, and while totally insufferable, is at least a bit more entertaining than Anal.

Oh and they both tied for Grammy wins! 0! Katy has more nominations though

Finally, Ke$ha.

Ke$ha ***** on Lana Del Rey metaphorically but unfortunately she's kind of a big flop. On the bright side her average metascore is the same as Anals (66, look it up!), and she has two 70+ albums while Anal managed to scrape one in exchange for ****ing the ugly member of the Black Keys.

i love Taylor...don't get me wrong

but i don't see how making an entire pop album is a flawless transition...if there are no country elements on the album then that's bad

therefore you can't call her a country act anymore if she isn't doing Country,,,that's all I'm gonna say because i don't know if she'll be getting that 4M sales in the US again

Except only about 50% of the album is MM. She's collabing with Imogen Heap, Ryan Tedder, and that guy from FUN. She also has a solo write on the album.

She isn't dumb enough to put out an album of 22's. If that Wall St Journal is anything to go by, she knows exactly what she's doing.

I believe Taylor will have her biggest era so far when it comes to single success. Her albums sales will definitley go down but should still sell like 4-5m worldwide, which is more than all the other pop girls latest albums.
