Oh my God... Seriously? Why does she not follow through with these collaborations? As long as her stuff with Paul, Ryan, and Diane is still on the record, I'm happy, though. At least with Diane we know that they did write several songs together, so she can't come out and say they never worked together. And Adele's called Ryan back into the studio several times, so they're obviously working together, and Paul is another given; she even confirmed he'd be the first one she was going to talk to about new music.

Okay... I know a lot of you guys really aren't into Maroon 5, but their new album is AMAZING. For some of you who wanted them to go back to their older sound and forget Overexposed existed, I will say that it's WAY better than Overexposed. It's either my first or second favorite Maroon 5 album. It's amazing. I've literally listened to it like, 20 times in the past week. It's so freaking good.... You have no idea. Y'all NEED to check it out! "Leaving California", "Animals", "Unkiss Me", "It Was Always You", and "My Heart Is Open" give me so much life!

I gave it a try a few days ago and I don't know... I'm still a bit disappointed. They were literally my favourite band when I was about 14, but this is not the band I fell in love with... I loved pop rock / alt rock Maroon 5, not this fully pop or even freaking electro band. I do agree that it's better than Overexposed though. But it's still my fourth fave album by them and considering they have only five albums, it doesn't really mean that much. 
But it's good that at least you and apparently a lot of other people dig it, I don't want to see them flopping.

It really is amazing!!! It gave me so much life and it's way better than Overexposed!

Songs About Jane is still my fav. Although I personally like Overexposed better than V so far.
I've been feeling this way about Coldplay as well lately.

I wouldn't be surprised if she covered it again. Her US version was the second biggest selling issue of the year in 2012 (after the Sept. issue) and Anna loves her. Plus they love to have people cover it when they make their returns. Gaga covered it before BTW came out and Bey covered it last year originally for her album (though it got pushed back). |
A part of me thinks it was just a joke, but you could be right. All the black, and December make sense. It would be perfect for her to do.
Maybe it was her UK shoot, but I thought the 2012 issue was one of the lowest selling issues in Vogue's history.

Yeah, I love it and I think it's a lot more genuine than Overexposed, but I get what you're saying. And the shift they made from the style of music they were doing to this was so abrupt.... Their first three albums were solid pop-rock/alternative albums and it was a good sound for them, and then "Moves Like Jagger" came and everything changed. I do think that they're playing it safe with the electronic-pop sound as opposed to going back to their old stuff, though, because they know the general public is here for it and it'll be a hit.

Really? I have to be honest... I like Songs About Jane but I don't get into it like their other albums with the exception of the singles. "This Love" has been giving me so much life lately, though... I just learned it on the piano! I've always loved it but didn't learn it until now. It's such a flawless bop! And yeah, I think Coldplay is kind of going down the "generic" route, if that's the right term.

Her UK one was the one of the lowest selling, but they admitted that singers always have low selling issues in the UK. Her US one was a huge seller.
She was featured in Vogue back during her 19 days as well so it wouldn't be surprising if she's asked to do it again. We'll have to wait and see though. It would be a huge score for them to have the first exclusive interview with her since taking a break.
