... Bottom line is that there is no trait or characteristic exclusive to one said "race". One of the rules in Biology is that there's always an exception to the rule. Always is pretty non-existent in the field of Biology and Genetics.
I understand. However
At least 90% of natural blondes are white -> The few black natural blondes do not have straight hair -> Beyonce wears straight blonde hair -> White women are the inspiration.
The only difference is I said it more blunty. Trolling aside I do thing Beyonce makes sure her skin is light, got a nose job, lightens her eyes and hair so she can be closer to the eurocentric beauty standard and see more global success. When she was selling makeup she was "Black, Native American and Creole" at the BET awards she is just black . Beyonce Montana is clearly trying to have the best of both worlds by looking white enough to be considered beautiful under said standard while still being a black woman.
If Beyonce was darker with a broad nose and kinky hair she would never be where she is today, she'd be sitting on a sidewalk begging for spare change because we all know she can't read or write for ****.

Your dedication. I personally don't give a legit **** and you know I'm no HIVE member. I like the bitch and it goes no further than that; however, I find it petty as **** how people dissect her (and Rihanna) about her "European" image when I feel like the only thing it's really doing is putting black people in a box and perpetuating stereotypes. Yes, she has worn straight blonde weaves before but she's also worn blonde kinks, curls, and afros too... Furthermore, I'm pretty sure you're one of the one's who drags Blue Ivey about her natural 4C hair? Bey can't win for losing

I have NEVER said a WORD about her child's hair But now that you brought up Blue Ivy is not a 4c, her hair is clumped together and it hides the curl pattern if it was actually combed out it would not be 4c and I'd be surprised if it was even in the 4 category. I don't wanan psot baby pics so I'll just link them but if you know 4c hair you would know her daughter isn't one.

Both Beyoncé and Rihanna have always expressed how proud they were to be black, and no matter how much they straighten their hair and pack on makeup so that they can conform to the world's demands to make their money, no one can deny their blackness because of these things. I love natural hair but who am I to kick anyone for treating their hair if it makes it easier to manage? Whatever works. We should be happy that as colored folk, we have the flexibility to go back and forth in the first place.
Black comes in so many different colors and forms, and perhaps the biggest step we could make towards ending racism is getting the world to realize that. We all do not look the same, we all do not act the same. We are perhaps the most diverse race of people on the face of the Earth. They put us in the box as if we all have a certain kind of nose, or a certain kind attitude, or eye color, or sag our pants the same, and the truth is most of us don't. It's crazy. I don't know any other race that gets templated as much as we do.
Regarding the L'Oreal ads: It isn't Beyoncé's fault that in America Black Americans, unless you're from the Caribbean, have largely lost their heritage. Sadly, most of us can't say "I'm of Nigerian descent." or "My great great great grandfather was from Kenya", etc. etc. because that was stolen from us. It is power if you know that much about yourself, but most of us don't. She is Black yes, but there is nothing wrong about knowing what made you black in the first place. Most of us, as African Americans, are mixed. Her mix is in fact extremely common among Black Americans in the United States.
You ask any white person, they'll proudly say "Oh, we are Irish, and German and some [insert country] down the line." But in America, all we can say is "I'm black", because most of us haven't traced our roots back. Knowing your makeup does not mean that you are denying your blackness.
FYI, she says "African American, Native American, and French". Big difference.
Figures... Men don't like authenticity. They'll chase a bitch with a thong full of silicone and pay a naturally bad bitch dust. Personally... my Anaconda don't want none.
WAIT @ her legs looking like tubes coming out of her ass

That **** is legit disgusting. I think it's hilarious how Nicki came out with a song about big asses and saying **** skinny bitches. Really, bitch? , but that's Nicki's prerogative, but like it's mine to drag her ass for it.

This is so eloquently put I don't want to even disagree. Just pointing out that the amount of time Beyonce probably spends on her hair is in no way "manageable" and I doubt those are her intentions and I understand that she's black but the industry obviously likes to look for a certain type of black girls.
This:
Not This:
Objectively, being in shape, good looking and talented helped her career but I do think she wears weave and colored contacts/brightens her skin for that reason. They want ambigious black girls who have features of both races to be marketable to both white and black people and Beyonce plays into this. For the "strong, powerful, feminist" she is I would expect her to challenge these roles. She has 500 million dollars she literally has nothing to lose.
I'm left to assume she either doesn't care or agrees with the practice of hiring these "safe" black girls since she as the alleged Queen does nothing to stop it. Also her unrealistic weaves make her look kind of like a drag queen, but if that's what she prefers then she can live her life.
