I'm not against it at all. But that's just a way to put music in terms of sales. 10 people buying a single song is not the same as a person buying an album.
This TEA thing is more of a popularity metric than "album" sales.

I'm not sure why people were expecting any big numbers for Meghan, lol. AATB is just a gimmick because of the lyrics, people aren't buying it because it's particularly good or anything. That's like expecting PSY or Ylvis to debut with big numbers.
It's not the first time we've had an empowerment song.
AATB isn't just any empowerment anthem, it's one specifically mentioning bigger girls and all that. If Meghan recorded a song with the same melody/instrumental but different lyrics nobody would care. It's a complete novelty song.
