The dancers were actually being very generous. 2 weeks notice is the standard. The fact that they gave 30 days notice showed that they weren't looking to sabotage anything. That would've been enough time to find new dancers and teach them the choreography.
And if Taylor's team was smart, they wouldn't hire anyone who would possibly leave during the middle of the tour.
Taylor knew that those dancers were taking a 30 day break. How she treated them is irrelevant. And if she did feel "betrayed" (even though she has no reason to because the dancers told her what they were doing and it was IN their contracts), thats not Katy's fault. Katy was probably told the truth: that Taylor's management had agreed to give the dancers a break to join her tour and that it was not a breach of Taylor's contract.
