Not really. Banks and twigs not only fall under the same umbrella but they are both making trip-hop R&B music, which is known as "PBR&B." Of course, they don't sound exactly alike, just like Kanye and Drake don't but they both make hip hop music. Britney and Beyonce are nothing alike.
I think my point is, that P4K dissed Banks and wrote her music as basically "bland slowpaced trip-hop influenced R&B music" (paraphrasing here). That is more or less the same thing Twigs is doing and practically every other new artist they review on that site.
Granted that it was different writers (I think), her sound is basically what they have been praising for the last half decade.
