Anyway it seems like Katy always has something to say in a metaphoric way, yet she never puts those opinions and feelings into her music
And Taylor at least you're broadening your subject matters outside of just men.

Who are YOU to define what artistry is?!
And how exactly does this constitute Taylor Swift "playing a victim". She was wronged!! That is only stating the obvious. She's not playing any role, it is what it is!! KP tried to sabotage her and now Taylor is fighting back. Will be interesting to see the tea that Taylor spills about your fave!! Let's see Katy try to rebuttal in the form of music, kiiiiiiiiiii

I am done with all these people here try to shade Katy even though it wasn't even her fault. Katy had worked with these dancers before she called them. Then, she told them "hey, I'm releasing a new album and I was wondering If u'd like to participate to the live performances-tour etc", she didn't even probably know that these dancers were on Taylor's tour. In addition, this decision was taken by the dancers, not Katy. WAKE UP PEOPLE.

Wait till the song comes out there's more to it and more to it with the dancers too.
Also
Quote:
"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," she says. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"

Is this the go-to line when you have nothing worthy to say? Let's not talk about weak and desperate shade when you're embarrassing yourself claiming Taylor should write a song about boys stealing her dolls.
Considering Taylor is able to fill stadiums on her tour, her demographic is clearly far more diverse than Kat.

LOL what?
Do you think asking someone whom you're not sure if they're being mean or not isn't the mature thing to do?
It is.
If someone is saying things about you, you think could be bad - You address the situation with them. That's the mature thing. - What world are you living in.
I also didn't say Katy "started" it. Your gross misunderstadning of my comments is a little, strange.

Katy doesn't pay her dancers (well she ultimatley does) but the label, the tour promoter do.

From one of the dancers:
http://www.examiner.com.au/story/198...-his-own-drum/
"`It was a great experience and she's a great person to work with, but then Katy contacted us"
" Perry contacted her three former dancers to say she was releasing another album (Prism ) and wanted them to join her on a second world tour..''
"And this time around she is a lot more in control.''"
I'm confused?

Katy should know what she was doing. The problem here is not really the fact that the dancers left, but how Katy probably handled it. If Katy talked this out with Taylor, don't you think things would've ended better? But it didn't.
|
Honey, breaking a contract is illegal and you can bet your ass we would've known if there was a lawsuit going on over these dancers. Seeing as there isn't, I guess it's all above board

Katy and Taylor appeal to the exact same people though.
They both have clean images, are family friendly and just barely mature enough to appeal to the older 20 something crowd.

Nope. Taylor's able to fill stadiums in different continents. She has more diverse demographic than Katy.

I think "there is more to seeing than meets the eye" there is probably more drama behind the curtains we dont know, they've been shading eachother for a while now.

Mess @ ppl coming for Taylor.
She is a songwriter, she writes about her life experiences, no matter what they might be.
Why is it wrong for her to call someone out if they've wronged her?
There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Its obviously a incident that upset her greatly no matter how minor it might seem to others.
She saw it from her own perspective & wrote a song about it for her fans, to share it with them. So whats the bug deal?
Get over yourselves. Taylor is doing nothing wrong.

Because I need to be Bob Dylan to give my opinion about it while you guys can say something and yet just being people posting on a music forum?
But she DOES play the victim all the time, she is the nice, pure and innocent girl that got hurt and she needs the medias and America to be witnesses and to know about that.
And screaming at the sabotage part

Even if they were under contract, if Katy didn't hate Taylor, don't you think she would've tried to mend things with her over this?

Taylor Swift may appeal to more people numerically, but they appeal to the same type of people, it's really not even up for a debate.

Are we using the examiner as reliable sources now? LOL
Anyways, Katy Perry is a BRAND NAME. Again, this is business they're not going to say "Bradford Cobb contacted me and offered me a position" they're going to say "Katy Perry" because no one knows who Bradford Cobb is. That's business that's how it works. I'm sorry that your confused but a little common sense in this matter would have been able to assist you.
