Because Europe isn't just 1 country, culture, language, economic model (Anglo Saxon versus Rheinland), way of life,... You have to be pretty global to be successful in 15+ non-English speaking countries, cultures, markets,... Learning English is just as hard for an European as for an Asian, African,...

The fact that we, Europeans, don't smash each other skulls because of our differences, is something exceptional that only happens for the first time in history. So big are the differences between European countries.

Getting the US is easier. Ellie looked at the other side of the Atlantic and sees 1 culture, 1 national identity, 1 big market with 300 million population, 1 marketing plan for 300 million people,...

Same thing for the other continents, there aren't much cultures, nationalities,... because the countries are big and not as fragmented as Europe. 15+ countries is as much as touring in all the other continents combined (not all countries on the map are viable markets, some are too violent, some don't have enough people with sufficient purchasing power to make concerts happening,...).
