Streaming is fine. Luckily, we have Spotify and other streaming services that are contributing to its streaming total. They might not be making more than 1 or 2 million additional streams, but they are still helping it. I know some big Youtube guy is doing a parody of Anaconda that'll be released soon and Ellen looks like she put herself in the Anaconda music video so that *should* be uploaded to Ellen's Youtube after Nicki's appearance.
I prefer the Ellen parody to an actual performance tbh because Ellen has almost 9.6 million subscribers on Youtube in comparison to Nicki's 6 million subscribers and, by having the parody, she is reaching viewers who may not have seen the video already (is it safe to assume Ellen's target audience is women ages 18-40 or something like that?) and is getting them to see it.
More people would click a Youtube thumbnail that has Ellen making fun of Nicki than a thumbnail of Nicki performing it IMO. Plus, as Willy and others have pointed out, the song (even the clean version) isn't suitable for daytime TV.

Oh I definitely see this being in the top 10 for at least until the album comes out.
It had its chance at #1 and it reached #2. Let's all be grateful because I doubt many expected the success it has already.
NOW that we have the hot 100 peak out the way the focus should be on CERTIFICATIONS.
Streaming #1 I have a feeling this will receive a platinum streaming cert before the album and we just need to get this to be certified 2x platinum on streaming at least.
Sales #2...we already did our part here so it's about new audiences supporting this.
She should have no trouble going platinum before the album and I would suspect this would go 2x platinum when all said and done.
Here for another 4-5x platinum single from the Queen of Rap.
I suspect the remaining singles will stay in the 2x platinum-4x platinum range thanks to streaming certs.
Hopefully the ellen promo and fashion rocks makes it surge back into the top 5 after it potentially falls out of the top 5 next week.
Now that the hot 100 peak game is over...I'm ready for CERTS, radio peaks, and future top 10 singles.
I AM SO HAPPY I WAS RIGHT about this new era benefiting from streaming being incorporated into the methodology for Billboard now.
