Only fans like us will analyze too much about Taylor, other people just don't care, they will become new fans because of her new music, this explains well why "Shake It Off" is so successful.
Edit: The success of "Shake It Off" is the strongest proof of a perfect transition. Country fans? No matter how many she brought in, she brought them out with her. News fans? A lot. She always wins.

Idk if youtube or spotify gives them more profits tho. But, even if spotify might lead to a bit of some profit loss, it sounds dumb not to get involved in where the music industry is headed to.
