He's the one that told me with the intention of fixing it. A friend started kissing him last night after they were all drunk at his house. I'm not in any shape ready to give up on anything, I just don't know where to go from here. At least he had the honesty to tell me himself. I'm just so hurt even though I know it isn't completely his fault.

Well the fact that he's the one that told you is really big. That shows that he's truly sorry for what happened and that it didn't mean anything to him. I say you should take a little time to digest it and then talk to him about it. Don't rush/push yourself into doing something sooner than you're ready to.

You have every right to feel the way you do. Just take some time for yourself to digest the situation so that you can talk to him about it when you're more level headed and thinking as rationally as you can because doing so now while you're really upset may cause you to say or do something that you may regret later.
