Edit: When I was backtracking, I saw a lot of you guys complaining, my feeling is the result will be better than we thought. I assume most of audience members can NOT speak English, for them the music and SICK BEATS were definitely very impressive. For me, her vocals are better than VMA performance, but VMA stage was much better.

The camerawork was a disaster Felt so dizzy watching the performance
I loved the performance, her vocals were better than the VMAs. But she totally skipped the first verse

The video is low quality so I need HD video to judge the performance better.

I actually liked this performance better cause it was more stripped down. Her vocals were better and she didn't sound breathy cause she wasn't jumping and walking around the stage too much And that's good after the disastrous isolated vocals at the VMAs

But for pop stars, it's not a big problem (The other pop stars, who doesn't have this or that problem?), people care about the whole production more. Only fans like us will analyze too much about Taylor, other people just don't care, they will become new fans because of her new music, this explains well why "Shake It Off" is so successful.

Edit: The success of "Shake It Off" is the strongest proof of a perfect transition. Country fans? No matter how many she brought in, she brought them out with her. News fans? A lot. She always wins.

Well yeah, you're right It's normal for pop stars to have backing tracks when performing. It's just feel unusual for Taylor though.
All singers will be out of breath when they're dancing/jumping/walking around the stage too much so I think Taylor did great.
