Am I the only one who will change Sims' traits when I give them a makeover?
Like, I know people give Sims makeovers, but I sort of change their personality. I had to change the traits of Dina & Nina to make them more like I saw them in TS2, and in TS3 I always changed Sims' traits to be more how I wanted them, but would still allow them to be how the game sort of made them... If that makes any sense.

Ugh I finally made an okay looking guy sim as a teen, and when I switched it to young adult it totally ****ed up his face.

These are Sim fans though.
The Sims 3 had a horrible user score, when most people couldn't play the game until the major patch. Also, not everyone thought Open World was a major seller compared to the lack of Community Lots etc.
It's better now though, because they now have EP's

I don't mind the lack of open world.
My Sims now leave the house without me telling them too and talk to other Sims, or do some community activities with other Sims.
In the Sims 3, they would never leave the house unless you told them too, and if left them to "hang out" at a Community Lot they just drove themselves home when you didn't control them.
In this, it's like they are aware of their surroundings. Which is great.

The Sims 4 remains great fun. Build mode is just too good.

I haven't done it yet, but I can see why you'd want to do it. Spice up your life!

I haven't played TS3 in a while but I'm pretty sure there's mods to fix these issues with The Sims 3. Once you set yourself up with those fixes then things are pretty good from what I remember.

The damn popup tutorial boxes are the worst. I can be doing anything and suddenly one of them obstructs my gameplay experience.

Is anyone else having the music overlap in game and in CAS? Like 5 different sound files are going at the same time, it's terrible.

Personally, I loved the sims 3 more.
Everything feels so small. The new "room" thing is ****ed up as well. I did my whole house and when I put down the rooms, it deleted the windows, the wallpaper, the fences, everything!
Plus for some unknown reason, it deletes stuff from the 1st floor when I put rooms on the 2nd one.
I love the new direction, building wise. Interactions, menu, etc, altho it's all kinda awkward.
And the multitasking thing looks soooooo weird. I mean they literally look like a mess, not looking at eachother standing in front of a bench and out of nowhere someone sits and there's like a few sec pause.
The worlds look so small and basically it's your house plus lousy parks and neighbors who all look hideous and they harvest all the time.
The new 'emotions' thing didn't really satisfy me, in a way I hate it, the way they change their face all the time and they are way too emotional, like every action brings emotion to them, why can't they be careless cold hearted bitches like I am?
I have a married couple, and the guy wanted to cheat on his wife with bob the pancakes but Bob is moody all the time, like he only eats like a filthy pig he is and I can't get them to woo-hoo and spice things up.
AND IT'S SO HARD SETTING THE HOUSE ON FIRE.

I had to use testingcheats to disable needs so my Sims never poop, otherwise he becomes blurry for the rest of his life
