I found most of the pop leaning tracks she had on the album to be near trash. Nicki was pandering to her pop fans too much during that era and the backlash was severe. It even affected the response to the subsequent urban singles. Nicki really did not deliver the hard verses I expected, but hopefully that changes with the upcoming.
I agree that the verses weren't that good. I'm not gonna lie, I used the RedOne tracks a lot, but I don't listen to them anymore. They are just there for me. Pink Friday has a bigger replay value

Automatic has the best dubstep breakdown of all pop girls attempts at breakdowns despite the rest of the song being trash. That being said, the pop songs on PFRR didn't really stand the test of time for me. I still appreciate the pop part for masterpieces like Whip It, Beautiful Sinner & VVV. It took me some time to see how much superior the rap part is. IAYL, BITT, Champion & RR could've all been urban smashes. I still use most of them today.
