Taylor was never truly respected by the country music community, the funny thing is TRUE country music fans think all these Nashville country stars are a joke themselves.
So many people outside the typical country music demographic (myself included, I'm from the UK which snubs the genre) discovered these artists through Taylor's pop-country hybrid so they owe her a lot.
