Well then they need to have multiple drivers, who take shifts. It's really NOT rocket science. They act as if they invented the car just five years back
Hell, I'm willing to bet North Korea have better f-ing driving standards. It's gone beyond what is deemed acceptable. They need to educate and let people know.

Are you from the US sis? Cause we probably have one of the best driving standards in the world and that's not saying much. Much of Europe and Asia is a MESS with transportation safety, it's awful. I've not personally been to Asia yet but I was in Western Europe a while back and it was literally lawless. Like there isn't even enough room for cars to fit on both sides of the road in some areas. Rome and London were terrifying. I suspect Korea has similar problems.

Unfortunately, a lot of entertainment companies, especially the lower tier ones will try to take risks and cut corners if it means it brings down the cost.
Even top tier companies cut corners to save money, idol safety should be top priority but maybe they have got away with it in the past, but this time it ended in tragedy.
I agree, something needs to be done as SK does not have a good road safety record. It's a shame that an incident like this has happened because nobody has taken action yet.

He is from Ireland...Korea's problem is people more so just buying their licenses rather than learning fully how to drive.
I feel like "speeding" is the problem not the mechanics/skills.
These "idol companies" get ridiculous schedule for their acts to go to and perform and for them to be there on time, the drivers have to speed to get to the place.
As for this incident, they were coming back from a performance in Daegu and was coming back past midnight on a rainy day. My guess is that the driver was sleepy + the road was slippery + the guy wanted to come home ASAP but we'd have to wait for the police announcement for actual info

London, Rome and Berlin are the pits, you can die being on the sidewalk, those cars goes so fast that they can just slips out of the road, just like that.

Actually, it's been statistically proven that Europe is amongst the lowest, while Africa is the highest, for deaths on roads. To my knowledge, America is a little over the average, but slightly, which is still "good", for lack of a better term...
Although it's been said, no sis, I'm from Ireland. And while we are in Europe (Western Europe at that), our driving standard is one of the best in the world. Our penalty system is pretty much zero tolerance and our safety ad's are disgustingly brutal/graphic
Quote:
In the Republic of Ireland, twelve points accrued results in six months' disqualification. 38 regulatory offences notified by post incur 1-2 point penalties on payment of a fine. 10 more serious offences require a mandatory court appearance and incur 3-5 point penalties. The most serious offences are outside the penalty point system and incur automatic driving bans, and in some cases imprisonment.
And an example of our adverts
And I don't mean to make this situation into a joke, but North Korea statistically has a lower death rate than South Korea. Like..................................

Well with those pictures, that was pretty much it, wasn't it? I still feel like this is a dream though.
