'The Imitation Game' is the festival crowd-pleaser
There is no question about it: Morten Tyldum's "Imitation Game" won the 2014 Telluride Film Festival. This pundit may have significant problems with the ending (not Cumberbatch, mind you), but it had to be the favorite film of at least nine out of 10 people spoken to. That's great news for The Weinstein Company, which could have a sleeper hit on its hands (not to mention a likely Best Picture nominee).
Katy will sell 1.5M tops next era, 1 top 5 which will be the first single because of the hype then all the oher singles will flop. Well actually if we go by how her eras do, if she doesn't have a #1 single she won't top the 1M mark seeing as she's a singles driven artist but I guess and hope she'll have a more solid niche fanbase by then and not just the GP.
Didn't they cancel the PIIALS vid because Beyonce danced much better than Alec?
The hive said it was that, but in reality it probably had to do with Alicia displaying her musical talent playing an instrument and all Beyst could do was shake her ass and flip her hair awkwardly in the same frame.
Virtually every pop musician has at least one song better than Beyonces career.
Gaga- Bloody Mary
Alicia Keys- You Don't Know My Name
Ariana Grande- Be My Baby
Britney Spears- Lucky
Christina Aguilera- WooHoo
Natasha Bedingfield- Put Your Arms Around Me
etc.,etc.,etc.
Katy will definitely flop next era, but I don't think it will be that much of a decline. Adele will be back by then, and no one will care about Katy's little attempts at Dr. Luke matching her ***-soaked vocals with synthesized "real music" beats.
bubblegum pop is dying out and no one was ever interested in her rock/different/acoustic music. Her only audience is radio (slowly ditching her especially since shes 30 and radio is ageist)
she'll have less demand for touring. less demand for everything.
So Taylor is basically guaranteed to be #1 for 3/4 weeks AT LEAST
SIO has a chance of being #1 the same week that 1989 debuts
Stable at #1 on iTunes(actually building a lead), ahead of Mooghan of Radio, iTunes, and Streaming with even more promo coming up.
The Lord has successful transitioned into being a bigger popstar than all of our faves
