Well, some people only start to like Taylor when she started to create more pop songs. Not because of the songs but because of the genre

I don't like country at all I'm a pop music fan and I can only listen to country songs from Taylor and some old popular country songs like Need You Now and If I Die Young. I only started to listen to The Mixtape like last year or in 2012

I don't think she'd abandon what really made her so popular. Just look at IKYWT, it's storytelling lyrics are amazing. I don't think Taylor would dumb down her lyrics both because songwriting is her passion and because she knows it's what made her so popular in the first place.

Like, you go to the 1989 Album page and it says Pop, but Shake It Off isn't even in the Top Pop Songs list, when it is in the Top Country Songs list.
