So true! God that was a moment. I mean I guess any star would eventually come down off such a peak, but I remember at that point she was everything I could have hoped for from a popstar and at that moment she DELIVERED.

I'm glad I've outgrown that really strong connection to her because it's one-sided and naive, but she was so important to me and will always hold a special place.

But even then, Gaga was #4 when she wasn't even in the middle of an era. And according to something I saw, in an episode from May, the question was "Who is one of the most famous/popular pop singers?" and Gaga was #1.

Honestly, while I don't put nearly as much energy into her now as I once did, I've come to realize that I'll always be that 14 year old kid who fell in love with her music when nothing else held any real importance to me. I'll always credit Gaga for me being here today and for me finding myself as a person, and there will never come a day when I don't enjoy hearing her voice.
