Hideaway is amazing after a few listens. But the weird sound structure is very alienating, especially for American listeners (imo)

I like when songs have a strong, notable centerpiece, like a chorus or a hook, but sometimes I appreciate a change from the typical verse 1/chorus/verse 2/chorus/bridge/chorus structure.

"Baby, don't stop me, hide away with me some more" gets me everytime. US is so wrong for letting flop one of the best songs of the year.

Stay With Me will probably be more remembered in the long run than Rude. Rude gives me seasonal resurgence vibes like California Gurls.
I wouldn't listen to a song like Rude during the Fall or Winter, personally.
