Serious question, but what iconic/rememberable thing has Katy done? Hits are all she has and tbf, that's not a bad thing to have at all, but cultural relevance and iconic moments keep you remembered. Hits don't.
Maybe if she had superb talent you could make a case for her, but she doesn't either. So what exactly is it that'll make Katy remembered? Catchy bops?

NOTHING. I mean people can't even remember the fact that she closed Katy year's VMAs with get huge hit.

But what she said clearly indicates she tried to make hits. Looks like getting hits wasn't so easy after all is what my point was. Lots of Dr. Luke songs don't become hits btw

But she has evolved musically. She has worked with different producers. Most of ARTPOP was produced by the same 2 or 3 producers as well

Working with different producers, but sticking to mostly the same kind of music, is not evolving musically, come on You accuse people of not arguing logically, then you pull out pears like this If I work with 10 different EDM producers, it's still EDM.
Take for example DJWS- he's one producer, but did a different range of things on ARTPOP from Swine to DWUW to Artpop(song), same producer, different range of sounds. So it's not like the # of producers matter

Gaga's artistry comes second to her image. That shouldn't be a secret to you. Everyone knows her based on her outfits, her antics and her shock tactics.

Katy is known for her body of work even if they can't immediately name her number 1's, they know she got them. They know she's a hit maker.
