I think the song is amazing but when looking at it, I couldn't have seen it replacing anything on the album. It wouldn't have fit. Even SFTTR doesn't fit the album (though it was far too incredible to leave off). The Fraser T. Smith stuff was very pop.

HOWEVER, I don't get why we got so many covers as bonus tracks when she had all of these other songs that we could have gotten.

Listening to her cover of Many Shades of Black. I would definitely be here for this kind of sound on the new album. It fits her voice perfectly.

Agreed. This is the main reason why its not on the album. I really like this snippet though I'm sure the full is even better

Many Shades of Black would be a good sound! I would actually love if Adele did something like this with a bit more of a modern twist

It popped out a few days ago on my ipod and I realized that it kinda fits the descriptions we were given of the "new sound".And it sounds amazing.

The guitar is what's slaying me, along with the vocals.

It also has a raw feel to it, which is one thing I hope she follows through on because she does sound so much better in a raw setting.
