What? The conflict has been going on for decades, and occasionally it intensifies leading to global media coverage. Oct/Nov 2012 for example. I really don't see why Gaga playing there has to cause so much indignation when Rihanna, JT, Madonna all performed there in the last 2 years only. Lana also had a concert scheduled but it was postponed I think.
If she speaks out for peace, it can actually be helpful to a small extent.
