Well with every #1 being Urban, I'm sure someone today would've said the same
I didn't know whites were crying racism when black/urban acts were number one. They would have seethed at the 1995 Hot 100 sales chart, back when coloreds bought singles.
Rihanna for sure... and thank god! That talentless b*tch and her tone deaf voice need to go back wherever they came from. "If It's Loving That You Want" is nowhere near a hit, especially when you consider "Pon De Replay" was #2 for several weeks (thank god again she was denied a #1). In any case, she is an egotistical, busted, flash-in-the-pan artist and I could not be happier. She is THE one hit wonder of the year!
Recently I have been buying albums, listerning to them, deciding I don't like them, ignoring them for a while, then months later dragging them back out to find I love em after a few plays.
A few good examples
-Pink - Missundaztood
-Missy - So Addictive -Mariah Carey - Glitter (really really grew on me after a while)
Wot albums have grown on u????
Omg.

The 18-year-old fan went on to rant: "Rap is a culture...Eminem is rap....don't matter what he raps about..******s or what not.....he's here to stay..for one...gays have a choice...its not like racist against gays as it is against blacks because your born a certain race...but your not born gay....therefore they screwin' with how evolution is supposed to be."

I am probably the biggest Gay hater in the world and i have got to say that gay people cannot complain now if Eminem decides to write a song called "burn the puffs" or something like that. He has been provoked in the highest dgree and will retaliate i hope with the highest order of severity. But thats just my opinion (and hopefully everyone elses too) and as 2pac once said if there was an intention for people to be gay then god wouldn't have created Adam and Eve. He would have created Adam and Steve!!!!!!
So much has changed w/ gays since the turn of the century. & these are replies from a Pop Music Forum.
Mariah STAYED on everyone's minds even when flopping.

...And not to sound like her spokesperson or nothing, but Mariah IS coming back! She's already recorded more than enuff tracks for an album, so she's picking the best ones and mixing them for her next album due out end of the year or early next.

Yeah everyone has their own tastes in music... which makes the world a wonderful place... if we all liked the same thing it`d be boring.
My opinion is that Mariah Carey used to be really good in her early albums, even if she did over-do the high notes and get annoying, but when she started doing the pap music over the last few years or so everyone lost interest. Her voice was going by that time and basically the songs weren`t up to much. I do hope though that she comes back with some decent songs and looks after her voice because te charts are a pile of crap atm.... and have been for a long time.
