4 doesn't make sense thats why it was the most hated on. She said she wasn't thinking about radio but you have records like countdown, RTW, and Best thing I never had (the sister to irreplaceable) on the album. It was just horrible. I remember hearing girls for the first time and almost passed out because I never thought there would be a beyonce song that made me cringe like that one and when the album dropped I almost passed out again because I waited 3 years for that ****

She probably didn't think of radio making these songs because most of them wouldn't fit on radio anyway. The only suitable songs for radio would be BTINH, Love on Top, Countdown & I Was Here. The rest is not really easily accesible for radio listeners at first. But for me it would make sense: if she wasn't making music for radio and aiming at mainstream success then RTW was the best lead single choice possible.
