the lyrics aren't that bad, but her vocals are just annoying
the only Hilary ballad that i don't really like.
Good luck on your listening, 4.14 mins
#GENETIQUE: 7 - Boring and weak vocals.
Nait Phoenix: 8 - Mostly just bored with it…
Zune: 10 - what a basic ballad. Mess. Go Hilary. You were going to do well in this challenge lol
Matty: 9 - Yeah this never really was a favorite of mine from her self-titled sophomore album. It just doesn’t fit her vocal style at all.

Congrats, ReachOut! This is your first win, right? Way to go!
2. igor - Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez - Emotions
#GENETIQUE: 7 - It has good parts but the lyrics and vocals
Nait Phoenix: 9 - Someone took my emotions! Me: And I care…?
Zune: 8.5 - I guess, J.Lo still sings ballads on her latest albums? Mariah might be mad tho
Matty: 8 - Jennifer… she was never a belter. She never had the strongest vocals, but this is just bad. How can she have good vocals on “Never Satisfied” and “Let It Be Me”, yet have this mess? Just basing it all on AKA right now.

This Prismatic ballad falls at the end of standard edition of Katy's album, PRISM. In this section, there are some dull and dreary ballads, but "Love Me" is probably the worst. The melody is painfully boring, and Katy's voice sounds awkwardly low throughout the song. The lyrics are cliche, cheesy, and somewhat creepy throughout the entire song (example: "sometimes I wish my skin was a costume... that I could just unzip... and strip" ). The song becomes a try-hard self-empowerement anthem that no one wants to listen to on a regular basis, and it is definitely a song that should have remained on the shelves.
#GENETIQUE: 10 - Bravo! Bravo! The worst song on PRISM and possibly in her entire career!
Nait Phoenix: 6 - Eh, it's not bad. I wouldn't play it again. It's just whatever, not bad.
Zune: 5 - Yeah this is a silly ballad. I'm kind of torn with this ballad from being bad or good
Matty: 5 - If we are talking strictly about Prism, then this is not the worst ballad. It’s not the best song off the album by any means, but “Ghost” would’ve been a better choice. Don’t understand why everyone likes it so much.

#GENETIQUE: 8 - Does the BeyHive always pull this receipt when proving Rih copied Bey? 'Cause it sounds like something Bey would totally do...
boring ballads
Nait Phoenix: 0 - This is an amazing ballad…
Zune: 8.5 - Her range has improved so much, but what a silly message this song has.
Matty: 6 - Rihanna’s never been the strongest vocalist, especially make in the day. Her ballads have greatly improved. This isn’t that bad, but it’s just very mellow. It doesn’t really capture you.

5. Inner Insanity - Avril Lavigne
#GENETIQUE: 2 - It's a good song but her child-like voice on it kinda annoys me.
Nait Phoenix: 9 - She does NOT have a ballad voice…
Zune: 2 - Poor you, this is actually a pretty great ballad.
Matty: 7 - Her vocals are fairly nice, but the lyrics are what makes this song not so good. It’s all so repetitive and gets annoying after a while.

6. Robbyyy - Nicki Minaj
Marilyn Monroe
By Nicki Minaj
#GENETIQUE: 0 - Sorry but I really like this song. One of my faves from Roman Reloaded and from Nicki over all.
Nait Phoenix: 5 - Very confusing…
Zune: 9.5 - Wow, Nicki, good first ballad.......
Matty: 3 - Must be how Marilyn Monroe felt… People thinking she was bad, but is actually a good song.

I think it's not that bad but P!nk's Ballads are the best so I can't choose any bad one
#GENETIQUE: 4 - It's not that bad, it's just really long and dragging.
Nait Phoenix: 0 - Like legit the best ballad I've ever heard!
Zune: 3 - Sorry this ballad is actually pretty good. I feel bad I have to give you a low score, but you had no choice really
Matty: 7 - Like you said, it is not that bad. What made it bad for me, is that it kept dragging on and on and on. Pink is usually really good at capturing you into a long slow ballad, but this doesn’t show it. You can tell it was from the ‘Try This’ era.

#GENETIQUE: 6 - I love the lyrics and the song as a whole but her voice is kinda lacking and not up to par with the emotional content of the song.
Nait Phoenix: 0 - DAFUQ!? Not her BEST SONG!
Zune: 2 - this is a pretty compeling ballad. Darn
Matty: 3 - I can’t really give this a real bad score because the song is quite good, her vocals are pretty decent, and the arrangement is pretty good. It is also a really personal song for Lindsay, so for her releasing it as a single for the world to know, takes courage. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to her two albums, but I’m pretty sure there is a worse ballad.
