Im not going to buy this game till theres like 3 expansions and its been reduced. It would be silly to buy it now.
The base game is usually just a mess, try playing sims 2 or sims 3 with no expansions.
The Sims 2 base game is fine because they gave you three different neighborhoods and the ability to play custom ones. They only gave you one in The Sims 3 and one from the store for free and you had to create worlds with a tool
But on the other hand, I remember I enjoyed TS1 and TS2 the most of the series. I mean TS3 got too much complicated and it lowered the pleasure of playing. I dont want to spend hours on creating sims, building house and other after a while boring things. I want to be entertained in a limited free time I have. So maybe I will find TS4 much more playable than the last sim game. The game performance will be much better as well.
Actually a lot of people that play sims love the creation aspect. I spend more time creating houses and sims. Thats why so many people are angry over this mess.
Well, I actually enjoyed more creating houses/rabbitholes and decorating my neighborhood than basic playing with the Sims I've made... (after Late Night actually, since we got the "apartments" and high-rises)
But from all the stuff they presented so far and from the core parts missing, the game looks... really disappointing.
It reminds me of an free online game.
It looks like an unfinished game. They should have taken at least 1 year more to properly make the game. And I hate theyve already prepared this game to be more milking machine. I dont want to really pay for some premium account to unlock objects. Their gluttony really irks me off, I dont think they will ever see my money again.

I loved it too. But only like first 3 houses... Then I just put families into already prepared homes, because I dont really have time for dat.
