I was so sure she would be "happily ever after" with him... That said, yes, now we can say it was a mistake to make him co-conservator, but I believe that was probably also something Britney wanted (I mean, at least he was going to become her husband, spouses are supposed to share everything), and if they had ended up getting married, the conservatorship would have ended.
