I think it's also too early to say there isn't love song on 1989, no love song on Taylor's album doesn't make sense to me.
I wrote this before, once the song is good, no matter it's Harry song or whatever, no matter what genre, I hope Taylor release the best songs, don't worry about the backlashes.
Shake It Off didn't have backlashes? Isn't it a huge success?
Ofc there'll be love songs in 1989. It was rumoured (or somebody who went to the livestream said) that there'll be zero SAD love songs in 1989.
Guys, I knew I'm a poor stan
I started to check Taylor's chart run on Speak Now era
So I wonder
How come songs like Hey Stephen peaked at #94 and being certified Gold?
Breathe peaked at #87 and The Way I Loved You peaked at #72?
In their debut week?
Thank you for answering
The release week of Taylor's album always sees a couple album tracks make the Hot 100 solely on the strength of digital sales. The same thing happened with Speak Now (in fact, every single song on that album charted on the Hot 100 at some point, the only album ever released that can claim that). The release week of Red saw several album tracks appear on the Hot 100 as well.
