Sadly yes, Paul was a lot better tho and a lot more consistent with his music.
Paul also never made a song as bad as John's "And Your Bird Can Sing" or most John songs on Revolver

I'm honestly not too familiar with them outside of the Beatles, aside from obvious hits (like Imagine and their two huge Christmas songs). A little bit with the Wings though because I loved their song for James Bond. I should delve into their solo work more.

He didn't produce anything on that album, he's only the executive producer so I was more dragging his choice of producers and songs for M5 (something like Gaga not knowing anymore how a radio-friendly hit single sounds)
