I wasn't one of those people trying to clock you (I don't even know what you're talking about ) Obviously, Miley helped the ratings for last year's show, but she wasn't the only factor. Overall it was just a fun show. Point blank, it depends on how enjoyable the show is. I don't get why this is even an argument. GaGa wouldn't have changed anything. Besides I completely forgot she performed last year until I typed a sentence saying I don't remember her being there at all. And that's from an ATRL user who enjoys most of her music and a previous fan.

When you say Miley helped the ratings, are you saying that people knew that she was going to twerk on stage? Thats why people watched it because of her and they knew she was going to do something shocking?

The funniest one is 2012 where it was held on a Thursday and was competing with the Presidential debate. But yeah, I'm sure Gaga not being there was result of it only bringing 6 million viewers.
