I only watch once a year for the award shows honestly. With exception of some of the Jersey Shore and The Game , I haven't seen a show on either network in years. VH1 however I actually watch more of surprisingly

VH1 is much better (at least here) because they constantly play both old and new music videos. MTV has been trash for most of this decade

Because the Hive always try to convince others that their fave is all that matters and brings in the ratings. And his Vanguard was announced with promo and everyone knew he, the supposed performer of the generation, was going to have an epic performance.
