Her albums did sell well, they just never got to #1. She usually got to #2 or #3 and was blocked by a local artist. Rihanna doesn't debut with that much here??????? Britney's just never been a huge album seller here I guess, although her album sales really aren't bad.

Whenever I think about ITZ I am in such awe... Toxic and Everytime were so popular here, 9/10 year old me was so slayed by the videos. That was such a good time for music. Usher, Britney, Mario Winans, Eamon all slaying... Britney dominating although R&B was super popular a queen. I just don't get why ITZ didn't even chart in the top 10 although the singles were huge here.
But peak don't matter for Britney albums in the uk. Longevity and total sales are things that matter. ITZ sold over 500k copies there despite peaked so low outside top 10.

I know and I agree. But Britney's music doesn't have much longevity any more because she doesn't promote it or get radio deals ITZ had such great longevity in the UK because Everytime and Toxic were all over radio and music channels and she performed here a lot.

Girl, that doesn't happen only in the UK. That happens everywhere for her other albums after ITZ. I mean that ain't new to her now
