Sam Smith's album took some time to grow on me. It's almost all ballad, and I tend to like uptempos better.

I actually love the album though - best song is Not In That Way.

It's interesting that she gets away with it and the media doesn't call it all out for being too much...yet they crucify the likes of Gaga, Madonna, MJ etc. for arrogance and being treated like deities by fans.

It's also kind of weird, because whilst I get that she doesn't play the "weird" card like Gaga or MJ and doesn't play the "abrasive" card like Madonna...it's plainly obvious that so much of what Beyonce presents the world is rehearsed to an inch of its life. It comes across as so disingenuous, even if it isn't.

Thats how its supposed to be though. Beyonce is not like MJ/Gaga/Madonna etc.
She's a celebrity first and a musician second.

Her main purpose is to push products and she lives her life accordingly.

I would not have thought it, but Julia Roberts ended up aging very gracefully. No plastic surgery, no desperation or stunts, no attempts to keep up with younger actresses; just content to live a low-key life and work whenever good parts come her way.
