Did anyone else love Beyoncé's performance at the VMAs? I totally called this like, a month beforehand, though. I KNEW Jay-Z and Blue were going to come up at the end and present her with the award. But she nailed it. She honestly did a beautiful job and even though some parts of it were kind of trashy (ahem, "Partition"), I thought she was a lot classier than expected and her vocals were great. One day, Adele will be up on stage doing something like that once she has more videos.

Yeah, I almost cried during "XO". I wish she would've included "Heaven" in the medley somewhere, but I can see why she didn't. Also, "Pretty Hurts" was barely in it.... Regardless, it slayed.
Also, apparently people are all over Twitter saying Adele and Sam Smith need to duet.
All the Adele mentions on twitter tonight. There were like 6,000 tweets about her during and after his performance. Most, like Addict said, want them to collab and most want her to return as well.
When she finally announces her return, it's going to be interesting to say the least.
Really hope her and Sam can collab on a live performance someday. Maybe at the Grammys? Have Sam perform, then sing with Adele, and have her sing her own material afterwards?

Wait... Ichi, they actually sold a signed copy of a Percy Jackson book at Target? That's so cool. I love those books. The films aren't very good, but the books are fantastic!
Also... A Columbia newsletter was sent out today and someone on ATRL reported that they claimed a new single was coming in September, assumed to be from Bey because it was under her news. Someone on the thread for it suggested that Adele may be involved because Adele and Bey were rumored to be working on something after they were both spotted in the same studio on the same day last summer. Honestly, I'd be here for this. Adele has wanted to collaborate with her forever and every time they tried to in the past, it never worked. Adele deserves to get to work with her idol!
I highly doubt Adele and Bey would release a single together, especially right before Adele's new album. I will also hate it if a collab becomes Adele lead single. I generally hate collabs
Anyways yeah I did get it at Target! He said each Target should have at least one signed copy of his new book, and I was looking at them for fun to see if I would find one XD It has a sticker on the front as well that says it is a signed copy so maybe you might see one if you ever go soon enough XD
