Her performance was not terrible. It was just...uneventful (besides the talking part). Her vocals were not good either. The choreography was not remarkable. It just made her look like a boring, not special, generic pop girl. Hope we get over the Shake It Off era fast and she starts releasing the promo singles.
And i think MTV is disappointed bc of Taylor right now, bc they probably wanted something controversial from her (like jumping) byt she didn't. Her performance was in the same time slot with last year's Miley Cyrus, so probably all the possible rating grow has been lost.

Is MTV really banking on Taylor giving the controversy? I doubt it. They got Nicki and possibly Ariana to do it.
I liked the performance. It was grand. Not at energetic as WANEGBT before but still good. I just felt liked that jumping thing was so scripted and contrived. At least Taylor gurl should've tried to make it look mare natural.
