If she does something like that I will say BYE BYE to her.
And jazz is so
I mean I don't really want her to stop making dance music but it's inevitable at this point. But she's not doing jazz for the rest of her career y'all should chill with that

Who says she's going to be doing jazz all the time
The piercing looks great it actually works with all of her outfits and accentuates her features. Septum's are really the only piercing I like other than earrings. And they're all over runways this year so she's not only co-ordinating her look masterfully; she's tres chic
Just another trend Gaga predicted and did before everyone else. :sistren:

I kinda wish she would do a total surprise release of the "Do What U Want" video just to get it out of the way.
Like, imagine if she made an agreement that MTV exclusively (no VEVO, no Fuse, no Music Choice, no MuchMusic, etc.) can put the video on their MTVHits playlist (without putting it on their "Future Adds" bulletin) so the first time someone would see the video would be random.
Like, imagine you're just chilling, and you have MTVHits playing in the background, and all of a sudden, you hear the intro of the video playing. When the song starts, you tell everyone online that the "Do What U Want" video is airing on MTVHits, but no one believes you, until they put on MTVHits. Most people only catch the last 2 minutes or so, and frantically look online for the rest of it, but they can't find it bc it's not released to other outlets.
For the rest of the day, stans have their TVs set to MTVHits hoping to catch another re-airing of the video. Fans who don't have access to MTVHits have to deal with LQish recordings, but overall the hype and excitement goes through the roof. A week after this whole ordeal, the video is finally released to other social platforms in HQ, and stans rejoice.
...Actually, that would be a great hype tactic for a surprise lead single by any pop girl. Imagine people saying "OH MY GOD THEY'RE PLAYING THIS NEW BEYONCÉ SONG AND MUSIC VIDEO ON MTV OMFG????" and people anticipating official iTunes/radio release of the song a week later.
Literally no one other than stans would care about the DWUW video being released like that. Now a lead single being released like this would be pretty cool, though the streaming points would suffer if everyone watched it on MTV as opposed to Vevo.
I really wish fans would let go of DWUW and realize how harmful and counter-productive any kind of release would be. Cheek To Cheek is aiming to sort of combat the backlash that happened during the last era. The DWUW video is disgusting with its rape message, twerking black girls, R. Kelly and Terry cameos and would in no way help Gaga or her career. Fans are always going on about how she needs to do this or that to help her career but want her to put out something that would cause people to hate her and crucify her? Point is, Gaga is already seen as an attention *****, so this video just wouldn't work in that regards. Maybe back in 2013 when the song was a single, but not now.
Edge Of Glory, this really isn't directed towards you, I'm just using your post to rant.

Come on, it's not that serious, it's just a music video. Besides, it can't be more revealing than Anaconda's one
It is, though, and I don't think people are really taking into account where society is at the moment. Cultural appropriation and feminism are the most popular they've ever been, and people are always looking for the next big thing to jump on and condemn. Gaga isn't in the best place right now, so negative press would hurt her. On the contrary, Taylor is #1 on the charts so negative press doesn't hurt her.
The Anaconda video is just butt shaking. It doesn't have cameos by sexual predators, nor a rape message.

Ikr
wo wo wo, relax!
I said two different things.
1- I don't want Gaga to do boring music. But she can do rock/alternative/r&b/rap/etc.
She can do EVERYTHING she wants to, but it has to be fresh, exciting and somehow GAGA.
After watching Lady Gaga last night I can understand why she is in a different league to other pop artists. Yes, her show, like any other in the same category, had the typical pop diva elements, but it also had brains, passion, artistic freedom and an important message of self-love
It is not very often that you use the concepts artistic integrity and pop diva in the same sentence shamelessly. But what happened yesterday during the first Melbourne show of Lady Gaga’s artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball tour is as close as you can get.
To prove this point, I can start by saying that the Superstar had to fight tour promoters to bring the show’s full production features instead of the 30% the suits intended to lower the costs. With this type of innuendo, expectations were really high and indeed the bad romance singer delivered the goods.
She appeared on stage with an extravagant multi-winged dress singing her single Artpop with a proper 4 piece band and an array of dancers. From that point onwards the crowd knew the night was going to be a very glittery one.
Throughout the concert the production was flawless: laser beams, outfit changes worthy of a Guinness record challenge, huge ‘outer space palm tree like’ props sprouting out of the ground, Gaga disappearing on one side of the stage and reappearing on the other, you name it.
But if the production stood out, her vocal chops were even better. She warned us from the beginning that her show did not have any lip-synching (as some reviewers claimed) and she really sang her heart out and on occasion reaching really high pitched notes or screaming from the top of her lungs as if she were the lead singer in a punk band.
You could tell that she felt really comfortable among her Melbournian little monsters, always sending her love out to everyone, encouraging people to take risks, to be different, original and to exploit our inner creative freedom. The piece de resistance of the evening was when she sat in front of the piano and gave the crowd a powerful acoustic rendition of Born This Way. She invited three little monsters to the stage to chill with her while she played the song, told jokes and discussed very profound issues such as mental health, addictions, freedom, pursuit of happiness, art and sexuality.
After watching Lady Gaga last night I can understand why she is in a different league to other pop artists. Yes, her show, like any other in the same category, had the typical pop diva elements, but it also had brains, passion, artistic freedom and an important message of self-love. Overall, not only did she delight her most rabid fans, she probably also converted a lot of sceptics.
