I almost passed out. The girl is making an 80s pop album for Gods sake
She's done indie, country, folk, stadium rock, rock, pop, country, bubblegum pop, country pop, bluegrass, pop rock, dubstep. Worked with multiple producers with her last album. She sent a full on bubblegum pop song to country radio as a lead single. Written/ composed / and co-produced an ENTIRE album by herself. Completely ditched her long time producer, whom she has worked with on all of her albums. She doesn't stick to the same formulas with her albums, she's always trying to reinvent her sound. If all of this doesn't scream "taking a risk", then I don't know what the **** does.

I had to call out that **** though. There's no way anybody is telling me that Taylor Swift has not taken musical risk. Especially in the way that he put it So far, has a country music based artist ever taken bigger risk than her?! Don't worry, I'll wait.
Edit: maybe Garth Brooks (the true country music king of modern times) with his Chris Gaines album. Taylor seems to be headed in the same musical path as Garth. Then again, she is a woman, so, imo, it's quite a bit more remarkable
Who cares. The more people tweet him about the Spotify thingy, the better. They will soon come to realisation that Spotify is only getting bigger and if they want to stay at the top of the charts, they need to release the song on Spotify soon, not 4-5 months after the hype for the song has died.

I laughed when she was holding that low note so dramatically.
And you speaking of his musical faves... Look, I love The Beatles, but, somebody is going to tell me that they musically took risk?!?!!!!! Uuumm, I don't think so!! They pandered to the popular format, just like the artist of today did!!
