I don't know if this was posted (I read the last few pages in such a haste to finally get to the inexisting link to the song) but apparently these are some lyrics of PrizeFighter.

Whatever, I just want a music video. Don't You Wanna Stay? No video. Don't Rush? No video. Tie It Up? A really forgettable video. Only BOY with Reba had a video that counts (and it was really great).

Well, I guess I'm not the best source of information but Trisha is a country legend just like Reba or Vince or Martina but the thing is: She is old (no shade, just constating a fact), she's turning 50 soon (so I don't know how much she appeals to these days' audience) and her last album was released 7 years ago. That's a long time. I think this Prizefighter album can be either a big comeback (if people want new music) or big flop (if people lost interest in her).

EDIT: Which doesn't change a thing on the fact that PrizeFighter will be the only second female country collab since Because of You with Reba (after Something Bad by Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood) if I'm not mistaken.

From what I see, people like Trisha, Reba etc. are huuge when it comes to touring. A lot of people are willing to spend their coins to hear legendary songs from legendary artists. I'm not sure if their new music can sell.

I think it depends on the quality of the music and also how much radios support the artists. For example Reba's latest lead single 'Turn On The Radio' peaked at #1 on the country chart. Hopefully Prizefighter (especially if it is really a duet, not just some harmonies by Kelly etc) can get enough attention because a) it is Trisha's long awaited comeback single b) it has Kelly so her fans might support it as well.

I hope "Prizefighter" is a start of Kelly's fall domination and Trisha's fall domination. But if they go touring together (like Kelly did with Reba) I'm gonna cringe.
