"To the reviewer in Perth who accused me of lip-synching: go **** yourself, asshole!" - @ladygaga at #artRAVEMelbourne
Noooo did she really
He deserved it tbh, if anything was a shambles it was his review. I read 3 others and they were all great but I dunno this guy must have been on his period.
It's always male reviewers who have something negative to say while women for the most part love it. That says a lot.
And surprise, another successful show despite fans thinking it would flop. Slay 'em, Gaga.
True. I think its because generally men aren't fans of female singers (their wives, kids etc influence them to 'like them') that they don't really get what the appeal is to watch pop shows compared to something like Bruce Springsteen.
Here are my two best shots from artRAVE Melbourne, Night 1. I'm so freaking jealous of the gay couple who got to see Lady Gaga cause they made her an amazing jacket.
Review from a fans from tonights show ------------ WOW. Just got home from the show - which I can without a doubt say was sold out right 'til the back row. (I made sure I sus'd it all out due to the reports that claimed the first Melb Show sold dismally - it was full)
She completely blew my mind. It was such a different style of Tour. It was much less thematic than her previous ones - and I must say that created a totally different, more electric atmosphere. I loved it so much you guys! Her vocals were ON POINT.
Dope was SUCH a highlight. She did every song off ARTPOP except for 'Fashion' and 'MJH' - she also didn't sing Jewels & Drugs, but used it as an interlude piece, which worked so well with the crowd. She also did Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, Judas, Born This Way (acoustic) and she sung 2 lines of TEOG. Oh, and Bad Romance .. which still remains one of the most flawless songs in the entire universe. Her costumes work far better in person than they do through images. The stage was so cute and the lighting was so effective and vibrant. Her interactions with the audience were perfect - people were laughing, crying and I could tell people were enjoying themselves.
The only flaw to tonight's show was Lady Starlight who practically played the same freakin beat for an entire hour without any drop. The saddest part was that only she enjoyed herself.
