They all make interesting points. The argument about the power at play in the showcasing of inclusivity was very good.

For me the only problematic part which I mentioned on day one, is so many kinds of shaking make it lose focus, I hope they focus on one or two, and make them phenomenal.

Edit: Besides that, this video is pretty positive.

Edit2: And "Shake It Off" itself is about the twisted reality, it was determined to raise some debate which I don't think as bad thing, I just didn't expect racism debate started by a blind (I mean knows-it-before-seeing-it kind of blind) stupid person.

The General Public (black, white, and all colors) thinks the "controversy" is stupid. They see no racism in the video.

She's also wearing this stereotypical "ghetto" outfit with booty shorts and animal print jacket which is problematic. She's perpetuating stereotypes but that's also in all the other scenes so im sort of puzzled.

Red and Black: All the rappers

She raps and has editing for represent what pop culture is these days. She's telling everyone who she is, and what she's being compared too. Also the cheerleading is symbolizing her "You Belong With Me" music video when it says
"You're Cheer Captain and I'm on The Bleachers", it's saying how she's evolved and is happy with herself.

No, she isn't 1OO% country, but she's till Taylor. Can people not try new things and change their style? I love her because of her personality.

So, just leave if you don't like her. It's that simple.

First, we need to make it clear we are just discussing not proving somebody wrong.

My point is: the highlighted is essential to distinguish the twerking in this video from Mileys, so I don't think it problematic.

As I said in the comment, she's perpetuating steroptypes in the other scenes as well so I don't really understand really if it's offensive. Unless they take the scene out of context from the video, that scene came out as her being "an awkward white girl".

After discussion, I think we should know "Shake It Off" has so many potentials, it includes a lot of twisted topics and shakes them off in a very positive way which I love so much.

Edit: Similar to so many kinds of shaking, I also think Taylor and her team need to focus on one topic at a time, I don't mind it brings up some debates, if these debates have positive impact to the society.
