Those are probably just preorders right? I can't see how in the hell she would sell that low her first week. Doesn't seem right, especially because her fan base seems to be one to actually go buy the music!

it is a bit early, yes, but then again look at Yours Truly
her fans can spare 1.29 to get her lead single strong, but $10 for the record is a biT reaching since she has a lot of young fans using daddy's plastic to buy the tracks

She'll probably sell around 300k - 350k. I mean their early ARTPOP prediction was like 400k so...

I predicted 180k and everyone laughed at me.
She's NOT a major pop girl.
I'll be buyin' tho,

I doubt it, i really believe and hope that Ariana do something more than 230k (what is really good for actual sales)

This is awful but it makes me sad to think how much she would have sold 2/3/4 years ago
The downfall of album sales is tragic.

to be fair Fancé had just entered the top 10 when TNC was released & was not nearly at the peak of its slayage by then. if the release date had been June 25th she would've been looking at 90-110k 1st week #s.

How can they even predict the sales of an album that is not out until Monday?

HDD has access to pre-order info as I recall.

pre-order + hype around it (singles sales, etc) I guess.

Pre-orders? Trying to guess the sales with pre-orders sounds so stupid to me. And if they used the same method with ARTPOP...
I don't even understand the point of pre-ordering an album.

I was more talking about the sales to date. Even after being out for 4 months and her having "3 T10s at the same time omg" inc a tons-of-weeks-#1, she's at around 300k.

200k seems about right tbh considering that she has only had one single with any real impact, and that was a collaboration.

Talk That Talk, one huge #1 hit, 198k
Kiss, two huge hits, 46k
Overexposed, two huge hits, 222k
Unorthodox Jukebox, two #1 hits, 192k
Blurred Lines, biggest hit ever, 177k
Pure Heroine, Royals being the huge hit, 129k
G.I.R.L., Happy huge hit, 113k

Fair enough. Still, I don't see anything that Ariana has done since her last album to double her fanbase to where she could push 300k.
