I hang out with anyone who wants to hang out with me. I don't discriminate and have no preference, William. I have noticed that "thugs" and "wannabe thugs" innately
despise me, though. I don't even have to say anything. I get these type of callouts on those occasions when I run into 'em or walk past 'em:
"Look at this n****, right here. Huxtable n****." And
"You ain't better, n****." But I chat with a couple mellow "thug" folk, too. I'm cool, if you're cool. I'm a very laid back person, son.
On ATRL, the callouts translate into:
"Vin is self-hating."
Conversely, no one has a problem with me on a hip hop forum I visit regularly. So the question is, why do "hardcore e-thugs" have no problem with me on a rap forum, why do "wannabe thugs" on a pop forum have a big problem with me, and why do real life thugs
loathe me? An interesting question and a fascinating study on race. Maybe I'll explore it in a paper, one day.
