The physical version of the album is going to look so beautiful omg
i also love how so many people are defending her against the backlash, saying how she's not racist. Of course they're still the paragraphs on tumblr but tumblr's always hated ha, so that's to be expected
i was reading a poll on some country radios website asking to vote yes or no if they want to hear shake it off on the radio and like 30 percent said no and surprisingly 48 percent said yes and then the rest didn't care.
I can't at country radio showing her all this support now

Now that Taylor's calling it Pop they all want her back. Her presence will be missed on country radio, so much so they're willing to play a pop song if it's her. I wonder if this reaction would be different if she tried to pass it off as country Ala WANEGBT. My guess is it would. Now that she's gone they'll do anything to keep her.

It's honestly hilarious how she can do so little and still be so polarizing. The world always seems to find another reason to hate her every time one reason disappears. No matter how stupid their reasoning is. Then again most musical legends are polarizing.
Oh ****! I forgot to tell them that! Do you think they’ll know?

Taylor after realizing she forgot to tell people they could begin downloading “Shake it Off” (via leadmeouttothefloor)
I was the one that asked her when we could buy the single and I SERIOUSLY DONT THINK SHE SAID “OH ****.” I believe she said, “I should—*looks around* I should have told them that..”.
I really don’t think Taylor said “Oh shit”. Guys, I would have fainted if she said “Oh shit” to me. I would have died. And told you all about the glorious moment. But then again maybe I missed it.
This is what I remember:
After the livechat she was gathering herself. She was nervous and excited that the news was released finally. You could tell. So she was taking a second to sit down and talk to us. And someone yelled “I like your outfit!” And I was like “Yeah! I really like it, it all goes great together. I like what you’ve got going on there.” Or something like that. She thanked me. And that’s when I realized she didn’t tell us when to buy the single so I was like, “Taylor!” And she didn’t hear me at first so I was like. “Taylor! Taylor, when can we buy the single?!” And I remember her stuttering, because she was so worried it was so cute, and she said, “I-I think right now? I should- I should have said that.” And I responded with “Yes you should have.” And she was so nervous and said, “Do you think they’ll know?!” And I was like, “Yes, I’m sure they are searching for it right now.” And she sounded relieved and said, “Good.”

there is legit no way she can win. People think she only has black people twerking they call her racist. They see she has white people also twerking, she's racist for making the black woman more prominent. and that stupid screen shot of that guy's tweet going around on tumblr and that girls essay about how "she only casted black women in the twerking scene" when that's not the case.
I love how flawlessly the music video introduces each different scene. Like, I listen to the song and I know "this is the futuristic part" and "this is the cheerleader part."
I cannot wait for the polaroids. Who knew the year I bought a polaroid camera, that Taylor's era would revolve around them. Taylor and I are connected somehow
I don't think people actually consider Her "racist" in a "hates people of color and mocks them and their culture" kind of way... It's more like "this wasn't well thought out and some people find it insensitive and/or insulting."
