Problem - barely sold 40% of what Rihanna lead singles sell WW.

My Everything won't pass 1 million WW, let alone sell even half of what Unapologetic did. Actually it won't outsell ARTPOP too probably

Ariana is a complete nobody and a B list in comparison to all major pop girls let alone Rihanna.

Umbrella, Don't Stop The Music, Take A Bow and Disturbia were big hits. She also had great album sales during that era. I don't think Ari is getting even close to that and I'm rooting for her.

Ariana's hardly a nobody at this point now. And the fact is that the B-listers are outperforming the A-listers (sans Taylor). Perhaps they wanted something new? But it's apparent from TIHWD, Pretty Hurts, the Beak 2 Beak era, etc. that being a-listers doesn't make you invincible like it did in 2011.
