Ok, i finally got round to properly listening to all these little filler hits out right now.
Shake It Off? It's got a good hook, but it feels like empty calories. Doubt people will be listening to it next year. I also doubt it'd be getting any attention if it had been some X Factor alum and not her. And what the hell is up with that Avril middle 8? Bet her country fans are feeling slightly sour.
Black Widow? Was there even a chorus/hook in this? Don't remember already.
Anaconda? Fun, but I'm not entirely comfortable with songs rehashing others hooks. Very lazy and the hard work has already been done by creating infectious riffs, lyrics and hooks.
Bang Bang? Sounds like a Sex And The City 3 soundtrack song.
I dispare. Bring back the actual pop girls. Hopefully their next efforts are better.

im warming up to taylor. but i was surprised that she doesn't get more of a bad rep for her vocals. she's not that much of a live singer either. when madonna wants to, she can really pull off those vocals. the whole girlie show & drowned world tour, ReInvention Tour and evita & im breathless soundtrack and albums are amazing. completely live & unedited. no dvd "alterations" or mess like that:
