It's not my word to use, regardless of its context. It's like when straight guys try to use the f-slur and act like they just mean "stupid" or "obnoxious." It still has an incredibly offensive connotation no matter how you're using it.
Also I worry I'll get used to saying words like that and then I'll accidentally say it in front of someone it'll offend. I've already nearly slipped up once when I was with a friend and we were singing along to Super Bass in the car. I ended up catching myself halfway into the word.
